Intel HD Graphics Driver 20.19.15.4501 64-bit driver for Windows 7

Whether you’re a casual gamer, power user, or gamer, this driver is aimed to improve your overall experience. We’ve fixed many hangs, crashes, and graphics corruptions across a wide spectrum of games and applications. We’re especially pleased to report that this driver also fixes some long standing and frequently reported graphics issues on Intel’s Support Community, including a scaling issue with Windows 10, and an error found when playing a particular game title. Please see below for additional details on fixed issues.

ISSUES RESOLVED:

- DX12 performance enhancement: Implemented optimizations in the driver to improve the DX12 performance of some benchmarks

- Color blocks seen when playing video with DPST enabled: Enabled Dithering for eDP even if panel bpc is same as frame bpc to resolve this issue

- TDR seen when running 3D-CAD application, "FJICAD/SX": Command stack at a function caused the TDR; fix is implemented in the OGL component to resolve this.

- Brightness dims when pressing hot key to restore default CUI values although brightness level shows at 100%: OS and driver gamma values were not synchronized causing this issue; fix was implemented to sync the values

- Display will not switch back to LCD-only when hot unplug HDMI cable from Type C to HDMI dongle: Hot plug detect was not getting sent and read properly causing the driver to assume panel was still connected. Fix added to correct this.

About Graphics Drivers:

While installing the graphics driver allows the system to properly recognize the chipset and the card manufacturer, updating the video driver can bring about various changes.

It can improve the overall graphics experience and performance in either games or various engineering software applications, include support for newly developed technologies, add compatibility with newer GPU chipsets, or resolve different problems that might have been encountered.

When it comes to applying this release, the installation steps should be a breeze, as each manufacturer tries to make them as easy as possible so that each user can update the GPU on their own and with minimum risks (however, check to see if this download supports your graphics chipset).

Therefore, get the package (extract it if necessary), run the setup, follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation, and make sure you reboot the system so that the changes take effect.

That being said, download the driver, apply it on your system, and enjoy your newly updated graphics card. Moreover, check with our website as often as possible in order to stay up to speed with the latest releases.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available

Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver

This will help if you installed a wrong driver

Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer
