Benefits provided by previous upgrades and included in version M13.R.0510:

- Adds support for the "Recommendations" feature

Notes:

- The "Recommendations" feature automatically analyzes your interests by referencing your viewing history to find programs and items you may like, and presents them in the xross media bar menu.
- This feature may not be available depending on your region and broadcasting conditions.

Installation steps:

1. Power on the television and make sure it is tuned to the inputs to which the Blu-ray Disc/DVD Home Theatre System is connected.
2. Connect the "LAN(100)" terminal on the player to your Internet source using an Ethernet cable.
3. Power on the Blu-ray Disc/DVD Home Theatre System.
4. If there is a disc in the player, please remove the disc.
5. Press the "FUNCTION" button repeatedly until "BD/DVD" function appears in the front panel display.
IMPORTANT: The upgrade cannot be performed unless the system is set to "BD/DVD" function.
6. At the xross media bar menu, use the arrow keys on the remote control to select "Setup"  "System Settings", and then press the ENTER button.
7. Use the arrow keys to select "Quick Start Mode" and make sure that the "Quick Start Mode" is set to "Off".
Note: If the "Quick Start Mode" is set to "On", change the setting to "Off". Otherwise, the firmware upgrade may not succeed.
8. At the xross media bar menu, use the arrow keys on the remote control to select "Setup" - "Network Update" and then press the ENTER button.
9. The message "Perform version update?" is displayed on the television.
10. Select "OK" and then press the ENTER button.
11. The upgrade starts and "UPDATING" appears on the player front panel display.
12. While the upgrade is installed the message "UPDATING" is displayed on the front display.
13. The firmware upgrade is complete when "COMPLETE" appears on the player front panel display.

Important note:

- Do not operate or power off the player until this message is displayed. Doing so may cause the Blu-ray Disc/DVD Home Theatre System to be unresponsive or to require repair.

About TV Firmware:

By upgrading your TV firmware version, you will benefit from improved image quality, fixed various noise issues, enhanced Internet connectivity (if available), boosted stability and usability level, as well as from several other changes.

However, you should first check that this release is compatible with your TV model and that it specifically resolves a problem that you have been encountering or makes changes that you deem useful.

In addition to that, since there are numerous TV models and manufacturers, as well as several methods for updating the software version, we recommend that you refer to the product guide, familiarize yourself with the procedure, and initiate the upgrade only when you have completely understood the steps.

Bear in mind that, in the event of an update failure encountered by trying to apply an improper firmware or if you don’t successfully succeed to install the new software, the TV can suffer serious malfunctions.

Therefore, if you wish to apply this release, click the download button, get the package, and refer to the update guide to upgrade the TV firmware. Also, if you want to stay up to date with latest releases, check with our website as often as possible.
